Who are we and what do we do?
We are an active group of Practice Patients who work in partnership with Practice Staff and GP’s. We meet on a regular basis. We provide a patients’ perspective, acting as a ‘Critical Friend’. We aim to foster communication within the wider patient population building stronger patient-doctor relationships. The members meet with the doctors and nurses to discuss current issues within the practice and health centre. This is usually well attended and occurs several times a year. We are always looking for new ideas and new members.
Our aim is to streamline the smooth running of the practice and improve the service given to you. Agenda items are added by both parties. Any proposed changes can be discussed and jointly approved, problems aired and resolutions sought collectively.
